About Us
MaxCard company was founded in 2003 in Sofia as a manufacturer of plastic cards, specializing in small and medium-sized jobs. Last generation equipment from leading European manufacturers at each stage of the production of the cards allows us to guarantee the highest quality output.
We have two main printing technologies – UV waterless dry offset and digital offset - HP Indigo Digital Press. They allow very short production lead times. Lamination is done by automatic twin stack laminator by Buerkle GmbHM. Our production capacity is currently 60,000 cards per shift. We execute and control the entire production cycle - from prepress to the finished card - with our own equipment, without subcontractors.
The standard production lead time is 10 working days. We offer also express service - 4 working days.
We have a personalizatsion centre with capacity of up to 10,000 cards per shift (thermal print, emboss, magstripe encoding). Cards are sized at ISO standard credit card (CR-80) - with varying thickness from 0.3mm to 0.8mm. Can be single or double- side printed, with magnetic stripe, low or high coercivity, in different colors. Signature panels can be with hot stamp or matt varnish, with standard or custom size and position. We offer holograms application or other special effects (such as fully or partially transparent cards).
We produce contactless smart cards (EM4200, Hitag1), as well as re-writable high frequency cards (Mifare1K S50, ICode SLI).

Clean, Eco-friendly production
Unlike conventional offset print which requires the use of moisturizing solutions, which could contain algaecides and harmful substances such as acids and isopropil alcohol (IPA), in the dry offset print are used plates with a special structure, looking like cells. The non-printing areas are coated with a silicone coating that prevents the ink, while printing areas are slightly gravured, leading to formation of a polymeric layer which allows the ink in. This allows operation of the dry offset presses without moisturizing solution.
All waste is recycled.
